Derek Ho Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Derek Ho is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Distyl, an applied technology company redefining how the world’s leading enterprises adopt frontier technologies. Distyl builds and deploys solutions that transform core business functions into AI-native systems, unlocking outcomes that were previously out of reach. Unlike approaches that chase incremental gains, the company focuses on breakthroughs — working directly with executive, business, and technology teams to identify high-leverage opportunities and deliver results in a quarter. In 2025, Distyl has raised $200M+ to date at a $1.8 billion valuation to help global enterprises become AI-native, backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, DST Global, Coatue, and Dell Technologies Capital. Prior to founding Distyl, Derek helped build Palantir’s commercial business, partnering with Fortune 500 companies to deploy large-scale data and AI systems. Earlier, he was a fixed-income trader at Citadel and Credit Suisse. Derek holds dual degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, where he graduated summa cum laude as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and Joseph Wharton Scholar.
